User flow
Pfizer Vaccine Finder
I led the end-to-end design of Pfizer’s Vaccine Finder product (now Pfizer VaxAssist), which launched on the Pfizer Comirnaty website in 2022. The objective of the product is to help patients easily find out where they can get the vaccine nearby. There were two critical public health challenges at the time that I aimed to solve for patients: It was hard to determine where vaccination was not only available as a service, but also where vaccines were in stock during a high-demand period. The data sources I worked with were user-indicated zip codes, Google Maps API location data on pharmacies, doctor’s office, and other medical facilities, and inventory data from Pfizer. Knowing the high stress that patients faced during this global pandemic, my goal was to design an intuitive and familiar flow that enabled users to find all necessary metadata at a glance.
